ZIRO EDA ("we", "us", "our") builds tools for PCB engineering. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit ziroeda.com and how we handle it. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be clear about what we do with it.

This page covers our marketing website. The ZIRO Designer application at designer.ziroeda.com may involve additional processing, which we describe within the product.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you contact us, book a meeting, apply for a role, or start a chat, you may share your name, email address, resume, and anything you choose to write to us.
• Live chat. Our site uses Crisp for live chat. Messages you send through the chat widget, and basic technical details needed to run it, are processed by Crisp on our behalf.
• Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. We use this to keep the site secure and reliable.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data.

How we use information

• To respond to your messages, meeting requests, and job applications.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can make it better.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and third-party services

We keep third parties to a minimum. The services that may process data when you use our site include:

• Vercel: website hosting and delivery.
• Crisp: live chat. Crisp may set cookies or local storage to maintain your chat session.
• Google Fonts: web fonts used for the site's typography.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings.

Data sharing and retention

We share information only with the service providers above, as needed to run the site, or where required by law. We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our records, then delete it when it is no longer required.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with us. Email admin@ziroeda.com and we will help. You can also decline cookies and avoid the chat widget without losing access to the site's content.

We may update this policy as the product and company evolve. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
